Chikuba Shin-yo-tei
Hakodate is the largest city in the south of Hokkaido, the northernmost island
of Japan. The city is blessed with the bounties of nearby seas and fields.
Hakodate was one of the first ports in Japan to open to international trade,
together with Yokohama and Nagasaki, and it is one of the nation's busiest
ports. Mt. Hakodate is said to afford one of the three finest night views
in the world.
Chikuba Shin-yo-tei opened in 1949 in Yunokawa, a famous hot spring resort
in Hakodate. The ryokan is
designed to recall a Japanese teahouse. Patrons enjoy the waters of the natural
hot spring and artfully prepared seasonal foods.
Since opening, we have been lavishing our hospitality on guests as if each encounter were a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Enjoy your moment at Chikuba Shin-yo-tei, which never fails to provide relaxation. |
